Yorkshire Highlanders - Pure, Local, Natural

Our highland beef cattle are reared in Flockton and on nature reserves across Yorkshire. The hardy highland breed live outside for most of the year, and are used as 'conservation grazers' for sites owned by the RSPB and Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts.

The cattle are slaughtered locally and then hung for three weeks for taste and tenderness, before being butchered back on the farm. All the traditional beef cuts are available (roasting joints, steaks, casserole, oxtail, sausages etc.).

If you would like to buy our beef, you can find us on a monthly basis, at the following farmer's markets; Cleckheaton (1st Saturday), Leeds (1st Sunday), Wakefield or Penistone (2nd Saturday), Holmfirth (3rd Sunday), Ashton-under-Lyme (last Sunday). Alternatively, please do not hesitate to contact us.
